Blogs that play music!!!!
Especially when I am mindlessly surfing because I am trapped under a feverish child and the darn music starts playing and startles her into waking up. I never re-visit blogs that play music. I often turn my speaker off so I don't know usually, but DH must have been using my laptop recently and turned the speaker back on.
It's happened to me twice this morning :( I know some people love that feature, but I find it one of the most annoying things on the internet -- right up there with internet ads that talk out loud!

There are only one or two blogs i'll visit that play music, and that's only because i have a real fondness for the individual bloggers and they both play sacred music.
ReplyDeleteI dislike visiting blogs that play music usually though as if it's only for the blog authors benefit, then why can't they just play a CD or somehting....a particular pet peeve is when music suddenly starts playing at a zillion decibels!
LOL! I am right there with ya sistah! I keep the "mute" button checked for this very reason - the only time I have to read blogs is when I'm nursing the baby to sleep and I have *several times* had her startled awake unwittingly by clicking on a link to a musical blog!
ReplyDeleteI still visit blogs of my favorite people even if they play music, but I try to be a total nazi about keeping the volume on my computer on MUTE - though some times my children sabotage my efforts! [Who thought it was a good idea to teach those kids to use the computer in the first place?!!! LOL!]
